About The Artist

I am an abstract realist painter, pet influencer & content creator living in Colorado.

I am a self taught artist who began developing my interest in art at an early age. I expressed my first serious interest in art at the age of 8 years old painting on the floor of my bedroom. I fell very deeply in love with creating and it has always been a huge part of my life. I started selling all my drawings in school. That independence sparked such delight within my heart and is core to my vision as an artist - to bring my work to the world with transparency and honesty and in turn, pioneer a path where fellow artists can thrive, free from the limitations gallery walls. As a teenager an opportunity opened for me so I went on to study art and design at Denver School Of The Arts. I started taking my work very seriously to creating artwork and practicing my craft for a year. When it was time for college I decided to go down a self guided artistic path as I quickly realized art school was not the place for me. The biggest thing I learned in art school is that you are your own biggest teacher when it comes to developing your work so that is exactly what I set out to do on my own.

For the most part I feel like I was born with an innate sense of beauty and an otherworldly knowledge of techniques and methods, as if taught by supernatural beings. I am a strictly a self-taught and my talents have always surprised everybody since early childhood. Nobody could explain how I possessed these mystical gifts. My knowledge of both human and animal anatomy comes as a puzzle even to myself, as I was never taught any of this.

My artwork world is a blend of the real and the imaginary, magnificent magical realism and abstracts of unparalleled beauty and harmony. I absolutely love all plants and animals and that is why most of my work revolves around them. I still remember the struggle when I was working on my first painting. But some persistence, handwork, practice and passion has helped me along the way. Practice is the key! As an artist, I always felt the journey is the reward. While it hasn't always been easy, it's always been deeply gratifying and I hope that I can be an inspiration to others to seek out their purpose through their passion. I spend everyday living my dream in the studio at home with a cup of tea, my pets and paints where I live and work with my husband.

My aim is to create vibrant mixed media works for fellow vivacious hearts across the globe; so that we can embrace the joys of life together. I consider it a great blessing to be able to share my talents with the world. My paintings have a deeper purpose. it is meant to uplift the spirit, heal, restore, reinvigorate, bring light and warmth and joy to our daily life... And my favorite thing about being an artist is hearing how other people see and feel when experiencing my work.
